AUG6/99: Is it, or isn't it?! "Truth is blinding!"
said Lao Tzu, the founder of Toaist philosophy. The truth about the home
release of "The Matrix" seems to be just as elusive. According
to reel.com you can order it in VHS in both reformatted and original widescreen,
and on DVD!

AUG4/99: "The truth is out there Neo, and it will
find you. If you want it to." And soon, so will the Home Release of
"The Matrix". According to Variety the official release date
will be November 26, 1999. It's to be released on cassette for video rental
only, but on DVD for ownership.

Remember the surrealistic scene on the television in the Oracle's waiting room? With the giant rabbits hopping through the town? My thanks to wolfsbane2000 who identified the movie as a 50's B rated movie called "Attack of the Lupine".
She also noticed that while in the beginning when Neo was loojing for The Matrix he was following the rabbits, they seem now to be following him, in effect, The Matrix looking for Neo.
Speaking of the Oracle's waiting room, did you notice in the scene before Neo talks with Spoonboy that hanging on the wall behind him in the hallway was a massive spoonrack loaded with spoons?

The helicopter used in the Matrix was a Military B212 -
a Bell 212.
